First let's address the whole pyramid scheme thing...
1.) A legitimate network marketing company does NOT pay reps for recruiting. For example, if you signed up with me to sell Younique, I do not make a dime off of the fact that you paid $99 to join.
2.) The only way to make money in a legitimate network marketing company is to sell products or build and LEAD (not just recruit but train) a team or representatives that do the same.
3.) A legitimate network marketing company will not force you to buy tons of inventory up front!
The simplest explanation of network marketing is a method of marketing products or services using independent representatives to reach customers as opposed to traditional marketing techniques like commercials, magazine ads, brick and mortar stores, etc... In order to accomplish this, representatives recruit individuals to help market their products. What these companies have discovered is that word-of-mouth "advertising" is way more effective and in turn, they can use their Advertising budget to compensate the representatives and believe you me.... THEY COMPENSATE THEM WELL! I think it's the best business model because everyone wins! You are compensated based on how hard you work! When's the last time you were given three or four raises in one year??? Exactly! There is unlimited income potential and everyone wins! The more you train your recruits to do well, the more the company makes and the more everyone is paid! It's the business plan of the future!!
I work for Younique cosmetics and have been for a year. I have been in network marketing for 20 years and have not found a company better for me. I love the company's products, compensation plan, their strong sense of family and their mission of empowering women.
